Hello!
I'm
an English teacher, as you may have guessed. I had the idea to start
this blog so that I could post some of the materials I devise for my
students here. This way they can have easy access to it, we save the
environment by using less paper, and they have no excuses for not doing
their homework assignments.
The
idea of bringing technology to my classes is also intended as a way to
beat the distance there can be between me and my students from time to
time - I tend to move around a bit. I also believe technology is a
wonderful tool; it can make classes more fun and productive, ultimately
bringing us all great results in terms of teaching and learning.
I
got a little ambitious and went on to envision this blog as a platform
where I could post not only class material, but also tips for the
teachers I have partnered with back in Sao Paulo. Be aware that although
the material may suit English learners from different nationalities, it
was originally made for people that speak Portuguese as their first
language.
Finally,
I have once been told that sharing is caring. Therefore, I'm more than
happy to think this blog might be of use to all the internet wanderers
around the globe.
